Respiratory Distress in Young Children

- Differentiate injuries of the knee utilizing physical exam skills, appropriate exam tests & imaging.
- Compare clinical guidelines, peer reviews of the non-operative versus operative management of the meniscal injury in physically active adults
The Weekend Warrior: Common Upper Extremity Injuries
Attendees of this presentation should be able to:
- Identify common upper extremity injuries experienced by adult “weekend warrior athletes” in a variety of sports.
- Review the AAOS Clinical Practice guidelines for the evaluation and management of acute proximal and distal biceps tendon ruptures.
- Differentiate injuries of the upper extremity utilizing physical exam skills, appropriate tests & imaging.
- Recommend rehabilitation and preventive exercises for the adult athlete participating in recreational activities that require repetitive use of the shoulder and elbow.
