Practical Approach to the Patient with Headache
Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Review the differential diagnosis of a patient presenting with the complaint of headache.
- Evaluate the patient with headache and consider the indications for imaging.
- Develop a treatment plan that considers lifestyle changes as well as medications for headache management.
Male Hypogonadism
Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Review the classic causes of male hypogonadism.
- Review the entity of adult onset hypogonadism.
- Determine the risks and benefits of testosterone use and apply toward decision making when reviewing treatment options.
Hypo and Hypernatremia
Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Develop strategies to diagnose the cause of hyponatremia
- Utilize guidelines for the management of hyponatremia based on duration and severity of disease.
- Identify the osmotic demyelination syndrome.
- Assess when hypernatremia may represent diabetes insipidus.
