Non-US Licensed Physicians - The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in these CME activities are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

AAPA -AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 5 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.

Overall Program Objectives Our audio courses cover fifteen (15) areas of Primary Care Medicine. The overall objective is to provide the participant with practical and clinically relevant information. Upon completion of these CME activities, through the use of clinical case vignettes emphasizing Guidelines and Evidence-Based Medicine, the physician or healthcare provider should be able to formulate a differential, make a diagnosis and develop a plan for the prevention and/or therapeutic management of the various disorders presented. Each CME activity has its own set of objectives, which are available upon request, included in each syllabus and accessible through this website.

All potential conflicts of interest identified will be resolved prior to their presentations or the presenting faculty/planning committee member will be withdrawn from planning/participating in the CME activity.

How this Program Works
Registration, Documentation & Course Format - Upon registration and fee payment, you will receive a paid invoice, course instructions, and course materials. Each course is based on a lecture and problem-based learning format utilizing cases and/or Q&A sessions, with a focus on practical and clinical medicine. You will be able to follow along in your syllabus, which is included with each course, just as though you were at the live sessions.

Each Audio and Video CME Module is $99. Registration fees include course materials consisting of your choice of Audio CDs and/or Video DVDs or an Audio MP3/Video MP4 CD (depending on the module(s) chosen), a corresponding digital syllabus (printed syllabi are available for an additional fee of $25 each), a CME Test, an Answer/Evaluation Form and the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Certificate upon successful completion of the course as designed.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Certificate - Upon completion of each CME module, you will receive a certificate for up to 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits from American Medical Seminars, Inc. provided the course is successfully completed as designed. Your CME certificate will generally be mailed within 2 business days of our receipt of your completed test answer/evaluation form.

Registration fees include course materials consisting of your choice of Audio CDs or an MP3 CD, a corresponding syllabus, a CME Test, an Answer/Evaluation Form and the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Certificate upon successful completion of the course as designed.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Certificate - Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate for the maximum amount indicated of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits from American Medical Seminars, Inc. provided the course is successfully completed as designed. Your CME certificate will generally be mailed within 2 business days of our receipt of your completed test answer/evaluation form.

The certificate will reflect the course title, credits earned, dates of study (upon request) and the date issued, which will be the date we receive your test answer/evaluation form in our office or postmark date if mailed. Dates of study will only be on your certificate if you report and verify them on your test answer/evaluation form. Testing online gives immediate results with feedback, or you may fax or mail your test answer/evaluation form.

Immediate Results with Online Testing - You may obtain immediate test results with corrections, upon successful completion of your test online. Simply click on "Testing Online" in the top menu bar. We highly recommend that you take your test online as it is the fastest and easiest method available and it provides immediate results. Otherwise, you must return the completed Test Answer/Evaluation form by mail or fax and wait for your results. Upon course completion, you keep the course materials and syllabus.

Important Notice - Do not submit your completed test prior to the last day of your course completion date(s). If tests are submitted prior to your last day, your certificate will reflect the date your test was received only, No Exceptions.

As an ACCME Accredited CME provider, please note that:
• AMS, Inc. will not issue a certificate reflecting your completion dates prior to your requested completion dates (nor will we post-date your certificate.)
• AMS, Inc. will not back-date certificates to reflect a date prior to you receiving the course materials or completing the course.

You must correctly answer at least 70% of the questions to receive credit. We do not maintain copies of your test results, so you will need to keep a copy for your records. Estimated course completion times:

Expiration - These CME activities qualify for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits up to the stated expiration date for each CME module. Tests received after the stated expiration date can NOT be considered for CME credit.
